Because Youth Matter
Youth CAB aims to provide a range of services to meet the personal and social development needs of young people. There is evidence that young people are reluctant to use mainstream advice services, however, there is some evidence to suggest that where a mainstream organisation sets up a dedicated young people's service that is integrated with other local services for young people, it presents less of a barrier to access.

The problems young people face can be very complex, often requiring some level of support as well as practical or legal help. This is one of the reasons why we are developing information, advice and counselling services, aimed specifically at assisting young people, to help them deal with a range of issues specific to them.
Youth CAB aims to address the barriers they face and help young people to resolve the problems and issues that they may have. Youth CAB will develop a range of services to address problems that young people face, including:
- Bullying and harassment
- Anti-social behaviour
- Drugs and alcohol misuse
- Unemployment
- Domestic violence
- Sexual health
